Battlets are small hand carded fiber batts for spinning, felting, knitting, crochet, weaving and tapestry, made by me on my Brother drum carder. After carding, batts are folded lengthwise in half or in thirds and then gently twisted into a little battlet, a puff of fiber that can be transported and stored easily. These battlets are great for spindling projects when you're out and about, or can be spun on a spinning wheel, felted, used for weaving or tapestry and can be mixed and matched with other fibers for a variety of projects. Select several coordinating or contrasting battlets to use together in a project. Create your own gradient or combo spun yarn. Battlets add a bit of luxury to any project!
