Bitty Batts are mini hand carded fiber batts for spinning, felting, knitting, crochet, weaving and tapestry, made by me on my Brother drum carder. After carding, batts gently twisted into a bitty batt, a mini puff of fiber that can be transported and stored easily. Typically 4 - 6 bitty batts will equal 1 ounce of fiber. These bitty batts are great for spindling projects when you're out and about, or can be spun on a spinning wheel, felted, used for weaving or tapestry and can be mixed and matched with other fibers for a variety of projects. Select several coordinating or contrasting bitty batt sets to use together in a project. Create your own gradient or combo-spun yarn. Bitty batts add a bit of luxury to any project!
